The Lotus Exige is a Sports Car built since 2000 in Hethel, Norfollk, England by Lotus Cars. In standard form it had 179 HP and the "track spec" version 195 HP.
In 2004 the Series 2 Exige was introduced and had 193 HP; also like the first one with an Toyota engine.Like the Series 2 Elise it has a front splitter, fibreglass hardtop roof with roof scoop, rear engine cover, and rear spoiler.
In Feburuary 2005 Lotus announced a limited production, with 50 units, using a supercharged Toyota engine. With it they increades the power output to 246 HP. These models were only available in yellow or black.
The standard Exige needs 4.7 seconds for 0-97 km/h and has an Top Speed at 237 km/h.
Several Exiges are currently in use in the SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge.
