Kubang ... what's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear this? A damn illness or something similar, anything asian, maybe some food? Possible.
But the "Maserati Kubang" is more than some food or an illness. But pretty similar in some ways. This luxury sport utility vehicle may help to get ill for its curves, it's interior and its design is food for everyone, the lovers and especially the haters.
Doesn't sound the words of Maserati a bit too enthusiastic? " With the birth of every new Maserati car, Maserati itself is reborn...." Propably a birth too much now?
Produced will be the 2013 model by Chrysler in Detroit, the engines will come from Chrysler and Ferrari.
Undeniable Maserati had to follow the other leading Luxury Automotive Brands by creating a so called "crossover SUV" (I only have to mention the Porsche Panamera or, do you even remember, the Spyker D8). But it's nothing surprising, copycats will die in the long run. The others are better, have longer experiences in these areas and c'mon the design of this "innovation on four wheels" is neither my cup of coffee.
Do YOU personally like the Kubang? Would you buy it if you had the money for it? And why? Would be cool to know what you're thinking!!
(By the way, why wasn't Greenpeace creating a "against gas guzzling too-much-for-the-cities Cars" Campaign, instead the one for the Volkswagen up!? Well, I don't unterstand them ...)
But nevertheless, the Trident will stay in the centre of the grille ... :)
And as a result for the picture below, the rotating plate wasn't working, so they tried to fix it - and afterwards it was working again.
And in the morning of the IAA it looked like this ...
