Spot of the Day: Autobianchi A112 Abarth

Hey Guys
I'm spending some Days in the beautiful Italy right now and this little Italian caught my attention yesterday evening - the Autobianchi A112 Abarth with 70 HP and will replace the "Car of the Week" today.

The first Abarth Version sof this A112 were introduced in 1971 with a 982 cc engine with 58 PS (43 kW; 57 bhp).
In 1975 this one was replaced by 1,050 cc one with now 70 PS (51 kW; 69 bhp) at a weight of only 700 kg (1,540 lb)
Through these characteristics it was often used in Rallye series all over europe and even had and own one-make trophy.

Up from 1982 it was badged outside Italy as the Lancia A112. In total more than 1.2 million A112 were produced between 1969 and 1985.
