Improved by Driving Skills at #mbdrivingevents

Hey Guys
This past Saturday I've spent as a complete "Petrolhead-Day" at the Mercedes-Benz Driving Events at the auto motor und sport Driving Center in Groß Dölln in the north of the german Capital City Berlin (app. 100 km).
Together with 4 other Bloggers (Heike (koeln-format.de), Kim (designlovr.net),Jan (auto-geil.de) and Philipp (blog.mercedes-benz-passion.com)) we tried the "Basic Training" which lasts a whole Day and includes a training of real life Situations to know how to react or better to avoid them by having your Car under a better control.

To bring the result of this Day at the beginning I can say that I really enjoyed it. And, whats the most important point, I've learned something and in the last few Days since the Training I am now really driving with both of my hands at the steering wheel. It might be an easy and small thing that has changed for me, but you can never pay too much attention at your own Security!

As I already mentioned in my Blogpost on Friday here for a last time the unemotional Facts about the Training "Traffic situations in which you have to make the right decision within a split second are a frequent occurrence. At moments like these, driving skill, practice and experience can often make all the difference. During the one-day Basic Training, the instructors show you how to deal with hazardous situations confidently and safely with the help of the active control systems. A number of demanding exercises – including evasive manoeuvres without braking at 80 km/h, emergency braking and correcting a skid – simulate critical situations so that you can learn how to counteract them without damaging yourself or the car. You’ll also get a chance to drive many of the cars from our range, including the more highly-powered models. So you certainly won’t miss out when it comes to driving enjoyment!"

BAM, now you know what Mercedes-Benz thinks about it, but what about me?

Even the pure chance to drive a C-Class (W204), C-Class Sedan (S204) C-Klasse Coupe (C204), CLS (W218), E-Class (W212), SLK (R172), SL (R231) plus SLK55 AMG, C63 AMG und E63 AMG was pure joy!
