DETROIT 2013: Destino by VL Automotive

Henry Fisker, well known for this outstanding Design he gave the Fisker Karma, also designed another Car, looking pretty similar but exact the same outstanding look - the Destino by VL Automotive.

Celebrating its debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Detroit Motor Show, in these Days the Destino is the result of a cooperation of the industrialists Gilbert Villereal and the former vice chairman of General Motors, Bob Lutz. It will have the propulsion of the Chevrolet Corbette ZR1.

"The objective in the design and implementation of this car was to motorsport enthusiasts to offer an exquisite work of automotive technology at world class level. Attention to detail, reliability and maintainability played the lead roles," says Lutz. "We have made ​​changes to the styling to differentiate our design, and have revised the chassis to the handcrafted LS9 engine equip 638bhp ZR1 with either a manual or automatic transmission. The result is a truly American-designed, engineered and manufactured a four-door sports car that can compete with cars like the Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Lagonda Rapide."

The Destino is assembled in Auburn Hills, Michigan, prepared under the supervision of VL Productions. The Destino will be available at retail for the certification and validation in the second half of 2013. The prototypes are currently being tested.
