BMW Motorrad: Concept Ninety at Villa Erba during Concorso d'Eleganza 2013

BMW Ninety Concept at Concorso d'Elegnaza 2013
Hey Guys
In honor of '90 Years BMW Motorrad' and '40 Years BMW R 90S' the Bavarians created the "Concept Ninety" in cooperation with the custom bike company Roland Sands Design. This orange and shining star was exhibited at Villa Erba during the Concorso d'Eleganza 2013 among other remarkable BMW Motorbikes. Another 2 Posts with Pictures of them follow the next Days!

With the former motorcycle racer Roland Sands and his Team BMW Design definitely found the perfect Partner to create a high-class custom and performance bike with technical finesse in combinatioan with an outstanding design.

40 Years ago BMW unveiled their "Stroke Six" flagship model BMW R 90S with a top speed of over 200 km/h (124 mph), making it the fastest production bike of its days. “The BMW R 90 S hails from an era in which bikers were regarded as outlaws,” comments Edgar Heinrich, Head of BMW Motorrad Design. “There was something rebellious about it – it was fast, loud and wild. Pure emotion. And it has retained its fascination to this day.”

Unlike other custom bikes, the BMW Concept Ninety can be – indeed begs to be – ridden. The motorcycle and all its components have been designed with top performance in mind.
