Hey Guys
The 41. AVD Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nurburgring is definitely THE Place to be for all Classic Car Fans and Historic Motorsports Enthusiasts. If you don't have the chance to go there by yourself I'll try to share all my experiences with you!
Here now some Impressions of the BMW Booth of BMW Classic with their Racing Cars, New Cars and 90 Years BMW Motorrad. Amont the exhibited models are a BMW 320 Gruppe 5 Junior Team from 1977, once driven by Eddie Cheever, Marc Surer and Manfred Winkelhock, a BMW M1 Procar from 1980 with 470 hp, driven by Nelson Piquet, the BMW M1 "Wirthshausauto" used to race the iconic Le Mans Race in France from 1980. It may look a bit strange but all the famous Sights from Munich are painted on it, once it was driven by Christian Danner and Prince Leopold from Bavaria.
Later today all the Cars will start up and warm their engines up to drive the BMW Race at 4:30 pm, for sure I'll try to film the best scenes, I asume it's going to be a nice engine sound concert :-)
