Volkswagen Kombi Last Edition |
Hey Guys
To celebrate the success of the Volkswagen Kombi, the "longest produced model in automotive history", Volkswagen do Brasil launches a special edition. The Volkswagen Kombi Last Edtion will be limited to 600 units only and celebrates 56 Years of Prodution but also the end of the Volkswagen T2 Production. A functional design, great cargo capacity and versatility have made the Kombi a huge success!
Every of the 600 units will feature a numbered identification plaque on the dashborad. It also features an exclusive white/blue body paint such as nice details like the whitewall tyres or white centre wheel caps or tinted rear windows. All these details definitely underline the nostalgic touch and the "Last Edition" really seems like it travelled in time trhough the decades.
But while the exterior looks like it was built on the Kombi's first production Day on September 2nd in 1957 the Interior appeals with up-to-date technology such as an MP3 sound system with red LEDs, Aux- and USB-Ports.
The up to 9 seats come in special vinyl upholstery, with sides in Atlanta Blue and a matching two-tone centre (blue and white). The internal side, door and cargo panels are also upholstered in Atlanta Blue vinyl and are finished with decorative stitching, the cabin and luggage area floors are fitted with carpet and dilour Basalto inserts, the same material that covers the spare tyre.
Powered with the EA111 1.4-litre engine the Last Edition is producing either 78 PS (with petrol petrol) or 80 PS (with ethanol), in combination with a four-speed manual.
A special "56 anos - Kombi Last Edition" decal on the side marks the specificity of the model, such as a special certificate of authenticity.
